Hector Martinez started his fire-service career at the historic Pontiac Fire Department in 2003 — a department with more than 175 years of tradition. He continued serving the same community when PFD transitioned into Waterford Regional Fire Department in 2012.
Twenty-three years on the line taught him what running a crew actually takes: safety, honesty, hard work, and treating people right — not as slogans, but as the difference between a clean job and a catastrophe.
